We’re proud to share the completion of 5 City Blvd, a 15-story cast-in-place concrete office tower now fully realized in the heart of Nashville. From early design through construction, this project has been a rewarding collaboration; one that brings together thoughtful urban integration, structural efficiency, and a clear architectural vision.

At street level, the building creates a dynamic and pedestrian friendly space with first floor retail and five levels of parking that complement the surrounding neighborhood. Above, the office floors deliver flexible workspaces with dedicated tenant amenities including a fitness center and multiple rooftop terraces that enhance the overall occupant experience and connect the building to its urban context.

To achieve the long spans required by the architectural layout, while also maintaining efficiency and constructability, a post-tensioned banded beam system was utilized for the floor structure. This system allows for open floor plates, minimized column intrusions, and increased flexibility for future tenants, which demonstrates how early and intentional structural coordination can support both performance and design goals.

With construction now complete, 5 City Blvd stands as a testament to the collaborative effort of the entire design, construction, and ownership team whose trust in each other and willingness to think outside the box made this project a reality. We’re excited to see the building begin its next chapter as a vibrant addition to Nashville’s evolving skyline.
